The thing is with the problems in the past, would we want to consider actually going through with something so big?

That's why it should be done step by step : first work on the first song of the mix, then when it is close enough to completion, starting to work on the second one, etc...
If people are not motivated anymore, then at least the first songs have been made, and there IS a video that's been done...

I think that what constitutes M:I is that one long song is being used and not a mix
