Oh and just so you know:
I'm a writer in real life, just got signed on with the university paper. But anyways, AMV wise I'm still new to the production end. Im mostly a fan and if you saw my "Critic" thread in Opinions, you know I'm into reviewing. I can always research what I dont know but quality wise i think i'd be better AWAY FROM technical aspects of production and computer stuff. BTW, I'm attending Anime Expo 2003 which might be something good I could cover (dunno if i'll be a volunteer yet or not).
So this was just some general info since I suppose you'll need to know the background of your "volunteers". Any more questions shoot them at me, can't wait to get started! 8)

Yeah, you bring up a good point, we need to find our who attended the most recent conventions. What just happened the other weekend... I can't remember.KhalReblic23 wrote:Oh and just so you know:

as for you, yes, please, we need people to write about all kinds of things, but first all of us people that are pretending we are important need to have a big pretencious meeting where we pretend like we're getting stuff done. ^_^ I mean, we need to decide what we would like you to write about.

That's the whole point of the editorial section. We plan on accepting EVEYRYONES work, and then we will file through it and decide whether or not it is print worthy and put the ones on that deserve to be on. ^_^kthulhu wrote:You guys going to accept reader submitted stuff (although you don't have to put it up, just consider it), like finer publications such as the newspaper editorial page and Penthouse Forum?
Because I might be willing to write something, once I get the feel.
In short, yeah! We'd love it if you would write anything you want about whatever you want, just so long as you do it well, it will be published.

Hey, if y'all need a writer/humor column, I'm good for it. Also, Bandwidth ain't a problem for me, my host loves me, and gives me unlimited (I've had anywhere from 30-150gb range, depending on the month).

Yeah, we'll probably end up spreading it around and having a few "official distributers" because we have a lot of good distributers offering. Anyway, about your writting, sure, we'd love it! We'll talk about it when we get together to discuss that sort of thing.Dannywilson wrote:Hey, if y'all need a writer/humor column, I'm good for it. Instead of a Tech Support person why not have a Tech support organizer person that would go into the video and audio help sections in this forum to search out answers for tech related problems. Wouldn't this be a lot easier then having one guy getting constantly e-mailed about tech problems and having them try to answer it themselves. We could use the AMV help community as a whole to do this section by useing one or two guys to sort through those forums, gather Tech info, edit out non-relitive info, give the person who helped credit for answering the tech problem, and putting it into the mag.
Just a thought but I thought I might throw it out there. If you guys think its a good idea I wouldn't mind being in the Tech support team. I'm not a very good Tech person, but I can organize well and thats all this job would really need I would think.
