That sounds so much like me 3 years ago. x)Sierra Lorna wrote:A long time ago, when I was into Sailor Moon, me and my sister would go download all of the SM attack/transformation clips we could find. When we were searching, we found a video that put lots of SM clips together to the song "Carry On". We both thought it was really cool and watched it a lot, but there weren't any credits or anything so we didn't realize who made it (I still have no clue who did) or how it was made. When KaZaA came out, we were still downloading SM clips and downloaded Blue Mercury by Aluminum Studios. We found it completely awesome, and went to his website and found out about AMVs. From there, we looked for more AMVs on KaZaA and found an FF8 video to Vertical Horizon's "Everything You Want". We realized that it's possible to make AMVs using FF8 cutscenes, and researched that (using the org's guides, I believe). We started editing using Pinnacle Studios 7 and downloaded FF scenes. Good times.
What got you into AMVs!

I thought about embellishing the truth, because reality is just so sad.
I was really bored one day and I decided to find out how to use WMM (mistake in retrospect), after a few hours trying to load video clips and even more time trying to export (buggy piece of crap). At the time I thought I was a good video (mistake in retrospect), but I thought there had to be a better way of doing it. Thus, the story continues….
So, in short I stated because I was bored and had nothing else to do. All my subsequent videos are a result of me having nothing else to do as well. Unfortunately my computer died as a result of my boredom, and now I find that I actually want to edit for the sake of editing and a little self expression.

I was searching for regular Music Videos and the search gave me an AMV (although I didn't know that was what it was at the time I downloaded it). If my memory serves me right it was an Armitage III: Dual Matrix (?) video using the song Fear by Disturbed. I've been doing watching and making em ever since.
