Question, does anyone have a group on youtube for this site, I know no one likes to be associated with it, but with all the stealing, I have one for 99 and only people who are members of that site can join that group and only videos that are posted on that site can be posted in the group, it might not be a bad idea for someone to do the same for this site, and they use the same user name or have to tell what their user name is, that way it can be confirmed that their video is on this site and also a good way to find out if anyone tries to join and ad a stolen amv

oceanangel2, you're new here so you probably don't ealize it, but we don't want to be associated with that site for several reasons, one of which happens to be that they're already getting hit with lawsuits and they're quite mainstream (they're talked about on news broadcasts across the country and around the world on a weekly basis - mostly because of the current conflict in the middle east). we don't want the shit they're getting themselves in to be visited on us. They also host things like full episodes - hense the word filter.

Okay got ya, well it was just a thought, but I see the concern, and I have seen some of the broadcasts and things you speak of, but then again they post just about anything on there There are alot of amv groups on youtube already so I do not know that it will stop this site from being affected if the lawsuites start hitting hard enough, I mean 3 bands have been removed from being used here already so apparently the site is known very well

Fireworks are only succeptable on the fourth of July. To signify crazy white people. And the long wait line at the ER. I am just glad the whole Blackparanoid thing got sorted out. I'll prolly take down my video today or tomorrow...
Kratos could totally beat up your dad. With his own limbs. Unless your dad is Voltron.

Because, doing so is just so 5 years ago... That and artistically, it won't work on every video. Even then, if someone has the skill to cut out bumpers, they can with little effort, cut out or obscure your credits.DJ_Izumi wrote:I don't see why more editors don't include MTV style bumpers in their videos. They're simple, clean, tasteful.
Something like this seems like a good way to ensure someoen doesn't take credit for your work...

Wow, after reading this thread, I figured I would check "The Tube" for my own vids. Lo and behold, someone put in their own credits and uploaded my weak-ass Naruto vid. However, 21 other people also uploaded my vid with the original credits, so it's all good.
Seriously, I can understand getting mad if someone won a contest with a stolen vid, but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If someone feels your vid is good enough to steal, that's something to be proud of.
