AMV Help?
So this seems to be the place to post this I hope...
I've watched a few AMVs on here and they were really good, and I'm trying to get to that quality but I seem to be hitting 2 problems.
1) It is becoming extremely hard for me to find good Bleach episode downloads for AMVs, I was going to buy the DVDs but I can't find any with more recent episodes.
2) I have problems judging what effects to use where and how to edit things together. I use Sony Vegas 9 and I've seen some pretty amazing things done with the program but I can't seem to get those results no matter how much tinkering I do or how many tutorials I watch.
So if any of you more experienced editors could help that would be great. My main concern is the first one and I know I should buy the DVDs for quality and such but I'd rather downloads for the mean time until they release them for more recent episodes.

Re: AMV Help?
Unfortunately, providing links for download sites is against the a-m-v.org site rules, so we cannot help you there. For the other, there are a few forums here that might help you:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... m.php?f=53
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... m.php?f=68
I suggest just browsing through the threads a bit or just post your own with specific questions.

Re: AMV Help?
The only way to get the most recent dvds for any given anime (unless it's finished and licensed then you should have them in your area) is to buy import R2's from Japan...

Re: AMV Help?
Wasn't aware of the rules against link posting...
Thanks for the other links though. And I don't understand why the DVD episodes go only to 136 if the latest Dubbed episode is 167...
Thanks anyway, guess I have to keep looking on the internet.

Re: AMV Help?
It's something called release shift (or maybe i just thought that term out) - in Japan too, movies which play in theaters come out on DVDs half a year, year later...

Re: AMV Help?
Because they are airing them on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block... They want to air them first then the DVDs. Either that or they are still working on distribution stuff like designing DVD covers...
