Justin Rollins aka RolltheStampede

I saw on Facebook that he passed away early this morning of cancer. It's a shame, he was a great guy and talented AMV Maker. We hung out at several anime conventions and he was always awesome to hang out with. He will be missed...RIP brother.

I finally got to meet him at A-Kon this year and he got me to get back into AMVs again. We were talking a little too loud during the contest but we were bouncing ideas back and forth. Good times! He will be missed. RIP brother.

What the hell ?

He's 9 years younger than I am. I was playing Tekken with him a few weeks ago. He just won the Masters at A-Kon with a vid he hasn't even got around to uploading yet. I didn't even know he was sick.

Like everyone said, a great guy and a great editor. I was so glad that I finally got to meet him this earlier this year, after being a fan of his for a while.

Fuck you, cancer.

Aww, man, that sucks.
I was hoping to see him again sometime to tell him that I loved his "Cirque du Kaliedo" video.

I've still got a shining finger productions hat that he gave me.

He's been suffering with cancer for many years now so at least he isn't in pain anymore. But it still sucks that he's gone and it's even suckier that his birthday is tomorrow.

Dang, I didn't see this coming. I just recently got his Shining Finger Studio shirt that he sent over for my video in Sakura Con. In truth I actually thought he was just kidding around when he said it on the Sakura Con thread and I was already happy enough that he acknowledged my video there. Don't really know him at all and only interacted with him in the competitions that I've run in the past but I guess this just shows a hint of the kind of person that he was. Nice guy indeed.
