Most likely some kind of "feminists" type of thing, or where the girl saves the day and the guy sits in the corner, etc.

I don't know the song but from your description of what you're looking for Shakugan no Shana comes to mind. The girl always comes to the guy's rescue. Kara no Kyoukai could also fit.
