Looking for sad series

I'm making a very sad AMV from several anime series, I got nearly 40% done, but I'm out of (good) footage.
I would like you to recommend me anime episodes where good sad scenes happen (such as sacrifices, loneliness, deaths, broken hearts...)

The AMV is coming out great, just need a little more push

Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal

Check out the relationship between Kenshin and Tomoe. Dies for him and he's kinda sad.

Samurai X - Reflection

The entire thing is pretty much sad. Kenshin all alone in a hut as he's dying and remembering his friends back home. He's reunited with Kamiya Kaoru in the end. Extremely emotional OVA, especially if you've seen the series first.

School Days - you get really depressed while watching the series.
Sola - I think there were some sad scenes or at least they could be editted into painfully looking ones.
Clannad - I prefer the stories that aren't asosieted with the real plot (Kyou ova, Tomoyo ova, + in after story eps 5 and 6 > Sagara Misae x Shima Katsuki)
Bungaku Shoujo - Mostly the movie
Code Geass - I felt like crying at the last ep but I guess you need to see the whole thing to cry
D. Gray Man - I'd say that it has a lot of lonely and sad scenes
Ef - Tale of melodies is probably sadder than Tale of memories

I tried Elfen lied but it was more gore than sad...I'm gonna try Angel Beats...
There is a preview of the AMV at 50% (not much more done by now), there is a lot of editing remaining... :p
