server going offline

probably not renewing my server for another year, as i never use it.
i know i'm hosting indirect videos for some of you among other things, so if there's anything you need to grab shoot me a message and i'll give you an ftp login (if you've forgotten yours or didn't have one) to grab it before it goes offline

this includes "the vault" which in a large archive of videos not hosted on the org for various reasons (gore, nudity, creator has no org account)

Sorry to see the vault go. I'm currently in the process of mirroring it for my local archive.

My local mirror is complete. After my move I'll look into sizing the vault and see about presenting a copy to the internet if ya'll are interested. In the meantime I do have a copy of anyone is looking for anything after the site goes down.

i've stopped paying my hosting bill, so very good chance everything will go down in the next couple of days, with the new month. get everything while you can.

and again, i have SOME stuff backed up locally (nearly 10gbs). i only saved a few things from the vault, but luckily some of you have made your own backups (ngsilver, vlad).
your best bet for finding things from the vault might be asking one of them, but if you're looking for anything else that might have been hosted with me, shoot me a message and i'll see if it survived.

the vault project had a good run. thank you to everyone who contributed (and a special thanks to orwell, who as i recall contributed a LOT)
