Wow, few G Gundam AMVs
I truly am shocked, G Gundam offers an abundance of great action scenes. It's suprising that there as few Mobile Fighter G Gundam AMVs as there are.
Anyone have plans to make one?

Awww, Mr. P, it wasn't THAT bad. Sure it's technically the weakest of the entire saga in terms of plot, animation, characters, etc. But all in all I'd have to say it has far more entertainment factor (and it was purposely stupid). It's freaking hysterical it's so cheesy

Wow, harsh words.
Personally, I count G Gundam as one of my favorite series. It is unique in the Gundam multiverse for having a truly happy ending. The sheer amount of unique gundams presents an onslaught of creativity.
Anyway, I tend to ignore people who blast anime only because it's been mainstreamed. The fact that it's not known only by a few people is not to be seen as a detriment. But a benifit of expanded recognition of Japanese Popular Culture in America.
I'm not a fan of Utena, or Vampire Hunter D, but I understand both the artistry and meaning behind them. The fact that I don't like them on a subjective basis does not mean that they suck.
The same goes for G Gundam. This is one of MY favorites, and I think it's great. However there is a difference between my thinking it's great and it actually being great. The difference is deference.

OK...contrary to what was said, G Gundam is not the Devil...if anything most of the crap it gets is because it gets taken too seriously (if you came into a show like this expecting, say, something like 0080 you're naturally gonna feel burned)
G was meant to just be a fun show, simple as that
For the record I'm gonna have to recommend against use of SEED...for now anyways, at least wait until the series is finished up (Hell, what you try to say in a vid now could be contradicted by a later ep...or could have a better scene for that part than what you used)
as for G AMVs, I agree, it's a shame there aren't many and it does have potential, but those that are out there are good
*has had a few G ideas kicking around, one of which is currently in development*
and in defense of F91, considering the fact they got screwed out of a series and had to do their best trying to tell the story in a film format they could have done a lot worse...

THANK YOU!!!!!! It's perfectly obvious that G wasn't MEANT to be taken seriously. I don't take it seriously, and I think that's probably why I like it In a way it's more fun to watch than the serious Gundam series. It's hilarious. Not to mention an addictive theme song to boot! *sings* Flying in the sky! Takaku habatake! Oozora wo yoko made mo....Heero_Yuy84 wrote:OK...contrary to what was said, G Gundam is not the Devil...if anything most of the crap it gets is because it gets taken too seriously (if you came into a show like this expecting, say, something like 0080 you're naturally gonna feel burned)

This is true. F91 was never meant to be a movie. And for having such a small time frame (not to mention budget) to work with, I'd say it was decent. Not as well done as it could've been, but at least it wasn't X: The Movieand in defense of F91, considering the fact they got screwed out of a series and had to do their best trying to tell the story in a film format they could have done a lot worse...
