Are short clips a good idea?
I dont clearly know if a person would enjoy watching hard worked short clips in 30 seconds or so than a full 2 minute AMV Which takes much time and also gets boring to edit after a while.

As long as a video is considered "complete" then it doesn't really matter. There are people, notably godix, who have produced one second AMVs because art (or parody).

That was also one of the motivations behind the AMV hell series if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, short clips are fine!

oh yeah. Short clips are cool. I've seen entire youtube channels of nothing but short 30 second amvs. Sometimes even shorter.
