Music Suggestions

Hi all!
I am looking for a song suggestion. I'm trying to do a music video for last exile, but I am having a hard time finding a song that fits. I was thinking, maybe a song that sounds "old", or a song about the sky or flying, or maybe a song about fallacies of war and honor. I'm not into rock/metal much, but any suggestion is helpful.

I started a tread were I wanted someone to make AMV of the Norwegian Balkan/gipsy-rock band Kaizers Orchestra, it haven't got any replies yet. Anyway, you asked for songs about e.g. about "war & honor" (I don't see the link between, but that was your point to?). You said you liked everything exept metal and rock, but changed it to just metal. At this description fits the Kaizers Orchestra-songs "170" (it is the title-person's number in the army), "Død manns tango" ("Dead Man's Tango"), "Bris" ("Breeze", it is about an alcoholic veteran) and "Veterans klage" ("Veteran's Grief"/"Veteran's Complain", don't think it is the same man as in "Bris"). The two last are about veterans (Duh!), and since they drink, these song may fit under your "sky/flying"-category. Another drinking-song with a "sky/flying"-theme is "Min kvite russer" ("My White Russian" with dialect) by Kaizers. As you might have noticed by the song-titles, they sings in Norwegian, so don't take my advice unless you understands Norwegian, Swedish or Danish.

What I meant by war and honor was what struck me as a prevailing theme in LE. How chivalry is upheld even to the point where it looks ridiculous (think back on the first few episodes). How battles are fought where chivalry and honor is more important than the common lives lost sometimes (I'm thinking of Moran here).
I'll download all these songs to see what fits. Anyway, if anyone has suggestions about other themes in Last Exile, then that will be very helpful?
Idea: I was thinking of Frank Sinatra's "Fly me to the moon", it sounds "old" (the anime does have that early 20th century's fascination with flying to it), but that was scratched. (Can't make 8mm style footage on photoshop for the life of me).

Just forget my other suggestions, ShZelda64. I have read your later post and found out my suggestions were wrong. But now I've got a suggestion; Hegra Festning (Hegra Fortress) by folk-singer Hans Rotmo. It is the true story about futile resistance against the German invasion of Norway in WWII. But as all most songs I suggest, it is in Norwegian. So you should be a Norwegian. Even if you understand Swedish and Danish, I doubt you get the hang of the Trønder-accent.
