Hey all im a newbe at making AMV and i was woundering were do you guys get all your clips from? and also how you chose the music?

We get the clips from Anime usually, but sometimes we get really ambitious and try live footage like 'The Matrix".

And we choose the music very carefully.

Ah I see now if I were going to get footage from an anime and it had subs how would i go about getting the subs out?Also do you guys capture the anime or do you like download the unlicenced animes and take footage fom them?

As for subs, I know of a method of creating a fake letterbox to crop them out or there's another program thingie that does it. There are guides that walk you through it on the site. I've never had to deal with it, because I capture using DVDs. If you're downloading, try to get it raw. That's what I'm doing for Your Eyes V.2
