I am relitivly new to the AMV scene, and so, my AMV's personally are not all that good. However, I do have alot of experience heading up projects etc...
As seen from my website, we have an exttensive pressence (IRC, Forums, comic, etc..)
In just 2 weeks we have gone from no hits to aproximitly 60 hits a day and growing.
What I plan to do with the AMV Studio is to "hire" about 3-4 people who have experience in this field (a resume would be helpful in this). Each person would work on his own project. At the completion of that project, myself as well as the other AMV staff would review the AMV, comment on it, give suggestions, etc... Then the project would undergo one last change and then we would start to distribute.
Distributing:
As a-m-v.org will host, we will obviously post them up here.
HOWEVER, since new members must wait 2 weeks, Anime Annex already has a distro plan. We will distro on our IRC channel through our bots, we will also host on our website, however, the website will be limited, so the main distro will be here and IRC.
As of right now, we have no staff, I am reviewing two people at this time, however, i am not sure if they are what i am looking for.
Basically, you make the AMV's in a team oriented setting, then we distribute them for you. This will be a good way to get your name out, as well as Anime Annex's name out.
Any more questions IM me: ecchisketchy or post on our forums.
I hope this was informative.

This is where Trigun lost its one point. The music is by no means horrible, and yet, leaves a lot to be desired. In the anime itself the music helps to set the tone and does a good job at that. However, only a couple of those songs are listenable outside of the anime. As a standalone Soundtrack it falls just short. "
That's bullshit...there's 2 or 3 Trigun soundtracks of 20 or so song each...you're telling me only 2 or 3 of the song in the Anime are listenable without watching the Anime? Bullshit
P.S Sorry for the double post
