Accidental Lipsync?

I was working on my non-anime video (yes, I'm still working on it, and yes, I have a reason), and had to slow down one of the clips where a character happens to be speaking, in order to get other action to sync.

When slowed down, it ended up to be fairly close to synced with the lyrics. Unintentionally.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Isn't most editing just trial-and-error in the first place

It's happened multiple times to me (without the slowing down part) in the video I'm currently working on, and I really love it when it does, because I'm lazy by nature, so the less work I have to do to get things to look the way I want them to, the better.

Yes - almost all the lipsync in my most recent video was accidental or almost accidental (I shifted the timing a little bit until it lined up). I couldn't really be bothered to do careful frame-by-frame syncing.

Lip synch is overrated.

I want more blatant over use of Premiere transition effects.
Page turns, that sort of thing.
That's where the future of AMVs lies.

Sappy Self-Indulgence was supposed to be a straight romance video, but somehow, a bunch of the words ended up synched.

In 1997 I was making a Simpons music video with two VCRs and a CD Player, just randomly picking scenes, and by a total fluke I made 'Gabbo' sing several lines of 'Cable TV' by Weird Al.
