AMV about against drugs

Post by Eek-1 » Fri Jan 16, 2004 5:19 am

Actually, it's not AMV.

I'm doing a video presentation about against drug abuse. I've thought about putting Anime just for the heck of it. Right now I have a couple of good scenes from Great Teacher Onizuka, and Cowboy Bebop movie intro, but I might need some more.

Can anyone suggest any Anime (or AMV) that has scenes that could be related to drugs? eg. smoking, taking medicine, ppl drunk, gangster etc.

Thanks.

For series that have that sort of thing, there's quite a bit of it in Lain. As for AMVs, you could check out Trip the Shrooms Fantastic.

well theres those little tiny packets of opium in the Kenshin series but you dont really no what it is until someone says something about it. Which would probably require subtitles. OH and the chick that makes the opium anting to get out of that bussiness you could subtitle that too.[/b]

In Boogiepop Phantom episode #4, there's a kind of morality tale of a boy who gradually goes crazy from his use of the fictional drug "Type S." (This episode also portrays how vicious the people dealing drugs are.) There's also a monster appearing in other episodes who disguises herself as a doctor and doses her patients with some kind of drug to draw out certain qualities in them that make them palatable to her, although that footage would only be useful if you're thinking to warn against crooked doctors in the style of "Requiem For A Dream."

Wow, that was the whole point behind my first vid. Which, I might add, I plan on remastering soon.

 subtitles, that's a great idea

Ah, Lain & Eva. I happened to have em, forgot those were really weird.

So there are already AMV about drugs? Maybe I could just d/l those show to the public. That could save my time a lot :D (I have to do 15-20mins presentation, longest I ever done.)
