This might fit better in the Donut-specific forum, but it's also general site stuff, and has a fighting chance at being on-topic up here where the traffic's a little thicker.

If you've been watching the main members page, you've noticed that there are now over 9000 videos hosted locally. So the big question is, when will local downloads hit 10,000? The house is betting March 5, 2003. If I'm wrong and you're right, you could win some stuffs.

This is a no-cost pool. All you have to do is reply to this post as to on what day YOU think the number of locally hosted videos will hit 10,000. No financial investure involved. Only one person can "claim" a particular day; first come, first served. You can pick any day you like that has not already been taken; picking dates in the past, though, is probably not real productive.

Thus, there can be a max of one winner; if you pick the correct day, we at SH Prod will mail you a box of locally produced donuts from our convenient shipping center in Michigan -- unless you live outside the continental US, in which case you'd be advised to pick an in-stock item under 20 USD from Wizzywig as your prize. We are uncertain as to the pointfulness of sending donuts somewhere that they will certainly arrive stale. You need submit no personal information now, but if you win you will be PMed requesting a realspace address and your choice of prize.

A day is defined by server time; we will have expert staff monitoring the start of each server day as soon as the count hits 9900. [Translation: I am going to be up bloody late several nights in a row.] Other rules will be clarified in this thread as posters see fit to request.
