Uhm...those 2 things don't go togheter. If it's a 3 min. vid. with 1500 kb/s then it should between 35-40 or less no matter which codec you used.673 MB (705,994,284 bytes)
1536kb/s
I doubt that's an accurate info. you provided. Are you sure you haven't mistyped one digit in bitrate info. ? What codec is it and how did you aquire such inaccurate info. (so I assume)? So far, I haven't encountered a codec that does something like that.
And one more thing, are you maybe editing with DivX/Xvid clips?

hi nate,
ignore bum. he's just messing with you. what program are you using to compress audio, and what audio codec are you using?

Well, for one thing, he's using PCM. He should really convert to mp3.downwithpants wrote:hi nate,

As for video, pretty much everyone else knows more than I do.
Another pointless post!

I believe that refers to the audio bitrate, not the video, based on where it was on the list.bote wrote:Uhm...those 2 things don't go togheter. If it's a 3 min. vid. with 1500 kb/s then it should between 35-40 or less no matter which codec you used.673 MB (705,994,284 bytes)

90% of all that was Greek to me. This is a uncompressed AVI straight out of premire. I've been trying to use AviSynth and finally got the video down to 66MB, when I try to compress the audio It says There is no audio imput. I know I'm doing all the things the guide says right but nothing works (not the first time I tried to compress this... or the 10th) I tried exporting in hyuff (or something... sounds like hyuff looks kinda like that but I cant spell) still could compress the video still said I had I had no audio input. I have double and tripple checked every seting I can think of and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong! I'm trying to use the xvid codec, and what was all that stuff about resoulution?
