Doom 3 is a beautiful game by the looks of it, I pre-orderd both the XBox and PC versions, I've downloaded several dozen pieces of footage from the game, and codecs my friend has supplied me with, and hell! there should be more Doom vids!

Yeah its all video game based sorta, but man it has such specatular visuals, mix that with some rock music, and you got some awesome cool stuff in the works!

Just an idea, I'm making one, and I encourage others to make some too.

If there were some Halo vids, would agree that there should also be Doom 3 vids? I mean there should Half Life 2 vids.

Yes its not Japanese, but if you think of the connection, both games are quite similar, both first person shooters, both with great eye candy! both with stange monsters....the list just goes on and on and on....

I'm sorry if its not Japanese, but Doom is a genre that has a world wide appeal to everyone, both entertaining, and controversial.

It is only right for a good game to be made into an anime music video , or at least I think.

only one problem, Doom isn;t anime. I'd be a GMV.

Even if you say Final fantasy isn;t anime, and its allowed, First, FF is Japanese, Doom3 is not, second, Only the CG parts of Final fantasy is allowed as anime, not the actuall game graphics. The game graphics arn;t animated, and neither is Doom3's game graphics ^_^

Hence this is still the wrong place for it

now all you'd have to do to get away with it is stick some anime character in it as a crossover sorta thing. then I'd be the right place for it, and might actually make for an interesting vid idea. [/b]

This site is for ANIME music videos only, which means any music videos using animation created by the Japanese (which is why some Final Fantasy and some Japanese 3D animated videos are in the Donut).

There is a lot of majesty and mystery in this ideal I've started, but what matters strongly to me, is that the DOOM genre has engenered a strong vangaurd to the video game society and slightly if not to the anime culture in my opinion.

Yes I realize its not Japanese-based, and having it as a video output many other members can post would probably open the barrier to other videos to other games that are not Japanese or Anime-based.

But there is respect behind DOOM 3 I believe. Not particular in the other Doom games, but with Doom 3 and its intensity, its cut scenes with Full Motion Video, its hardcore intuitive action and highly developed graphics...

I just think it deserves a nice place in AnimeMusicVideos.org as an output for videos that the members could make and create.

It's not that we're discriminating those types of videos. It's just that this is a wrong website to host that type. I'm sure there are other fan-made music video sites on the internet if you search a little more.

You could be right, you could be wrong, but what my goal is, if you may call it one, is to slightly if not expand the limits a bit with AnimeMusicVideos.org.

When you look back on things you can see somethings that you wish were there but never existed. I would just like to see the extremity of things expand, or rather, grow.

And yes, I'm talking about this site.
Although it is very superb as it is, and just knowing it has limitless potential with all the new members and creators of sorts arriving everyday with new videos hour after hour...

Why not expand the limits a bit on the videos, why not entwine the certain aspects of very beautifully made video games with there well orchestrated full-motion-videos and take hold of them with the technologies of today, and literally create a threshold with music interlinked with the full-motion-videos, to create music videos?

I think its a brilliant idea that should be stretched beyond a suggestion and elaborted into something all of us could use, even if its stretching the barriers.
