Making AMV's

Post by The Blood and Gore » Fri Jun 25, 2004 10:04 pm

I've noticed that some peoples AMV's have stuff added into them like for example: Old Projector look, changing colors and so on. But I only have Windows Movie Maker. And was wondering what other's used to make their AMV's so I could try to make some better videos.

Check the 'AMV Software List' sticky in the 'Video Software Help' section - it'll be bold at the top of the section - it lists various editing programs people use.

If you're using Win XP you might also try upgrading to version 2.0 of windows movie maker on the microsoft website - it gives you those effects (though you can get much more fancy with other programs - Premiere and After Effects being favorites around here).

Most people use Adobe Premiere.

You can buy it online at nearly a steal

I use adobe premiere and photoshop for all of my editing needs =)

They are great programs and they tend not to give me many problems like windows movie maker...

meh, the problem with premier is that its too popular, and alot of people go past other great (and beter) programs such as vegas.
