What got you into AMVs!
I just put up a what got you into anime thread in General Anime so I dicided to do this one, and if there is one already like this, welll sorry .
Anyway what got me into it was when I was student serives for a teacher (and when I was getting into anime) I was aloud on the computer until she need me, and normally I would look up anime stuff, and when I looked up anime clips (to check out new series) I ran across an AMV site (not this one sorry ).
When I say my first AMV it was a rock and roll thing of Neon Genesis Evangelion. I loved it, and watched a least three times every day through out the semester. And that is what got me into it, and now I am here watching and reviewing!!!

A friend showed me this site about 2 or more years ago. I don't remember the first AMV I saw. I think it was a dbz video to Bodies by Drowning Pool (yeah, that really narrows it down ). But the ultimate AMV that hooked me on the site was the Outlaw Star Trailer by Eyewash Studios. It was really AWESOME . The last time I checked though, it was no longer in the AMV search list. Suck

Well I post on a FF board alot. And when I first came there there were only two people that made their own banner graphics. So I did it and found that I was decent at it. So I kept doing it. Eventually others began to copy me. So in an attempt to be original, I made a FFVII AMV. It was ok, not great but not horrific. So far only one other person from those boards has made an AMV since that time (which was like march or so).
I know I'm a n00b and I suck at AMVs, you don't have to tell me about it

It was EK's video "Sledgehammerspace." EK, if I ever see you again, I'm gonna kick you for not uploading it to the .org. Well, not kick, per se.

What got me into AMV's is pretty simple my sister boyfriend gave me a cd with a bunch of them on there and most of the were pretty cool. One was a DBZ video to a Beasty Boys song and there was a Cowboy Bebop to Living in the Fridge. Then I didn't do anything for about a year becuase we lost the disc. Once I found it again I started searching on the internet for more of them. Then about two years ago I started making my own once I figured out that I had WMM on my computer. My first video was a DBZ video to Bodies. That I thought was good then but now when I look back the quality of the clips was horrible. Oh opps kinda went off subject but since I wrote it I'm not deleting it.
