Are Mvids Really Illegal?
Question that has been bugging me for a while. I know you can show mvids at conventions, and the like because they have special liscenses, etc. But, to actually make them and distribute them on the net, is that really legal? I mean, you rip the footage from the company, and use songs from artists, is that really legal to do? I'm not putting anyone down, I just want to know if it really is legal or not. Like, Disney for example. Disney is a VERY scary company. They slam anyone that uses their stuff without permission or a contract when they find out about it. By using footage from titles like Princess Mononoke, don't you think they would get pissed at that? Just a question that has been nagging at me. I don't think there is a permanent law that lets people express their creativity by using anime and songs. Maybe there is? *_* I dunno. If anyone can help me out on this it would be appreciated!
