Credits: at the beginning or end?
As I was watching videos recently, I came across an important question: Do you put the "credits" (ie, studio, other info) at the beginning of your vid, or the end? Where do you prefer them?
I personally prefer something very short at the beginning ("TITLE" by creator), and some more info at the end (anime, song, musical artist, etc).

Both. Studio and editor at the beginning, sources and thanks at the end.Sarcastic Assassin wrote:As I was watching videos recently, I came across an important question: Do you put the "credits" (ie, studio, other info) at the beginning of your vid, or the end? Where do you prefer them?

Thats cause he's seen the future, and in it, you're dead:(.

I put my studio bumper at the end. It's mostly because I think it's a good way to bring the video to a close. I don't really have a preference when it comes to other people's videos, although at conventions I guess it does help to have their information at the end. That way, if I see a video that I really like, I can pay attention to the bumper in order to look up their stuff.

i do either... sometimes if i want to make people wait through my intro *for something funny* i do it at the beginning.. but if its a serious video, i usually save it until the end... it dosnt really matter... however you feel comfortable doing it *for me, if the intro is more then 5 seconds i will skip through it... but then again if the vid isnt very good i usually close it before i see the outro.. * so if people hate your intro they might skip a few seconds of your video... but if people close your video out early, they wont see who made it... the choice is yours.. red pill, blue pill...

If people close your video before it's finished they probably won't really bother looking into the person made it anyway, whether they know who did it or not.AMV_4000 wrote:i do either... sometimes if i want to make people wait through my intro *for something funny* i do it at the beginning.. but if its a serious video, i usually save it until the end... it dosnt really matter... however you feel comfortable doing it *for me, if the intro is more then 5 seconds i will skip through it... but then again if the vid isnt very good i usually close it before i see the outro.. * so if people hate your intro they might skip a few seconds of your video... but if people close your video out early, they wont see who made it... the choice is yours.. red pill, blue pill...
