im doing an amv that features rain battle sequences. i was wondering how many animes out there feature rain battles. so far im using:
DBZ: History of Trunks
Matrix Revolutions
SW: Clone Wars
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
i know the last 3 arnt anime but hey they have what I need. id like to use more anime to qualify it as an amv. also if any one has a good song suggestion for it ill take suggestiions for that as well since i dont even know what song im using. thanks in advance.

I think that's what he did (...uphill, both ways, in the snow, etc). All anime rain is basically the same 3 cels with tons of lines looped. You probably don't feel *that* ambitious, though.
Maybe one of the Berserk battles is in the rain? Somewhere around eps 6 through 10 or so...

Rain battle scenes... G Gundam has many Rain battle scenes, particularly after she 'borrows' the Rising Gundam....oh wait, never mind. 
Rain is just lines drawn straight down, more or less, used as an overlay, sometimes with a slight 'halo' around the characters to represent the rain bouncing off them.

Cowboy bepop Movie has rain at the end fight.
Also in episode 5 has rain...Wait, that battle is inside a church, can't count that. But movie has it.
I think there was rain fight scene in some anime called
"7 Samurai" or "Samurai 7".
Can't remember all.
