were can i learn effects

can someone tell me a place were i can go to learn how to do effects be sides fading? i cant figure out how to do piano keys and stuff like that or how to make another video flash over another. is there a web sight i can go to that can teach me this?

Although Vegas is high consumer-level, and it should work efficiently/great/superb/wonderfully for effects.

X2, from experience -- basically all the effects in DV:UI and my RoS segment were made up on the spot, and nothing more than me just having fun making the video look cool.

The clear and simple answer is...you can't.

I'm afraid that if you have Vegas 4.0, that is too inadqueate of a program to use/create effects.

Furthermore, since you get to start off with it, you have to <i>die</i> as well.
