Showing others the AMVs
I made a few AMVs (my first couple) and I want people to see them. not just the people I come in direct contact with either (because they've already seen them ) I put them in my shared folder for limewire but my friends checked and they werent on the server. how can I get them on the net or something?

Heh, yea, that'll have to wait a bit - but not too long.
As far as fileshares - I don't know anything about the one you use, but just check your settings or something, perhaps un-share and re-share your folder. In my observation, fileshares won't usually result in a lot of downloads for your vids, but there are surprising results sometimes. Hell, I once spotted someone sharing my rather obscure first video - converted to MPEG, no less!

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

When I did file shares (MX, kazaa, etc..) I was always seeing action from the amv shares. That's actually how I came across Kyoto Rain, which is still one of my favorite videos and served to get me looking for this site.Otohiko wrote:Heh, yea, that'll have to wait a bit - but not too long.

So it works, just don't expect to know how well it works or to ever get feedback.
