does windows movie maker work for making amv's?
i really want to make a slayer amv ever since i saw slayers next (i cried and thought that they should have stayed together and NOT have forgotten everything) *cough* any ways i have never made a amv before and im afriad that i might not have the right softwre for it...the only prgrams that look cloes to a movie making thing is windows movie maker and Roxio dvd and video creator..plz help me

I don't know about roxio, but WindowsMovieMaker2 does work for making AMVs. But I have to warn you, MovieMaker crashes like there's no tomorrow, so save your work every few minutes, don't delete your source material, and if it crashes give it a minute or more and it should be back to normal.

If your using windows, the most powerfull video editor that you woent have to pay for is probably openvip. However, for the sake of convenience i'd recomend starting out with wmm2.1 . its got a good user base, which is helpfull if you have any problems.

wmm is very good for starting off. I made my first vid on wmm and it was shit but thats cuz i didnt know what i was doin, not cuz of wmm. I made my second vid using premiere and its decent but could easily have been reproduced in wmm (I only used fades and photoshop once). So basically, until u have a feel for editing, u should stick with something like wmm becuase of its uber user friendliness.
