Looking for an anime with the following description...

There's a song which I'd really like to make a video to but in order to do that I need to find an anime with the following components:

1. The anime should be a shoujo series, preferably with a female protagonist.

2. The anime should be about horses. That's right. Horses. There should be a lot of clips of horses galloping through beautiful landscapes, preferably with the hypothetical female character riding one.

Does anyone out there know if an anime like this exists????????

I am thinking Rose of Versailles might do some justice since people need horses to travel around France.

And there's a female who dresses like a guy. The series is only available in fansubs though.

"Rose of Versailles" is also known as "Lady Oscar". I've found some Italian DVD's. Or what about some French? Or some Chinese (Taiwan)?
If you want to use it for AMV and not to watch it it should be ok.

you can do one with various animes.
i know utena from utena could fit the girl part and there is i think atleast one part with a horse.you can probably find some horses in inuyasha records of lodduss war and any other kind of medival animes hope this helps out in some way

does it have to be real horses? in Kino's Journey she ride a motorcycle that is essentially alive.

No, Kino is definetly a girl. I haven't really watched the entire series yet, but there is a reason she dresses up like a guy.
