What is a good movie making program?

I am new to the AMV world and I made my first one the other day, I am sad to say that I am not satisfied with the program that I used to make it. I used Windows Movie Maker. I was just wondering if there are any good programs that anyone could suggest to use. Please help me out if you can, Thank You!

Not nearly as good as Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro, but what can we do (nothing actually...). Anyway, good luck anime making!

I only recently got adobe premiere so I was using Windows Movie Maker for a very long time. And I mean VERY long time. Hehe just to show my Windows movie maker support I'm gonna download you AMV.
