The amv maker's high?
hello, i started making my first AMV earlier today (after about 2 years of downloading and watching some of the best ones off of this site). when i first started i thought i might get bored simply moving clips and back and forth and stuff but once i started it was like an addiction. i have several main sections done and am increadibly proud of how well they turned out, when i got my first 10 second secion in synch and looking good i was like omg that looks so awsome, did i actually make that? i'm seriously on a roll and think i can have this amv pumped out in just a few more days.
anyone else experience the same thing?

I still get the emotional feel for my amv's when I work on them. I mean I get rapped up in them and start editing and before you notice it is 4 hours later.
Just take your time, and don't rush it. If something does not look right go back and re work it and get someone else to look at it. Also putting up betas on yousendit.com and contacting friends you have here to take a look at it would be the best idea and ask them for their honest feedback.
Have fun editing.

I get a huge smile on my face when I already know what I want.. slam the footage together and it looks good. I don't make up as I go along back in the day everything already was set from my imagination... now I can't think of millions of clips as I listen to music and while I'm editing thinking up scenes I see the same 5 10 clips repeating themselves.. then I actually got to think up scenes instead of them coming to me naturally so it's more hell to edit lately. I have no idea where my ideas/creativity has gone but the feeling has left me. I've been only eating 1 meal a day and not taking care of myself.. maybe that has something to do with it.. Maybe if I eat normally again and actually do some physical activity maybe I can get my groove back!
