Where do most of you people get all your video sources for AMVs?

Your source is "*SIGH*"? That's very interesting. My source is DVDs.

Dvds rented from netflix. I used to buy dvds at BestBuy and the mall in Evansville. I did online purchases, but never from one main website. Netflix is the cheapest source I've used.

Yeah. *SIGH* is an organization thought up by my best friend and his aunt.

They first get a computer, go to www.sigh.com and download all the animes to it, burn it, then charge 100 bucks to people they sell it to (me).

You didn't know? It's a good service, unless the anime you want is like 6 episodes...because then it's still 100 bucks >_>. Getting a long series though is good.

Use other peoples amvs, they'll love you. And make sure they're not actual anime sources, but made up of both discouraged content and maybe something seriously illegal just for fun. That younger sibling should be put to use somehow.

Mostly Netflix, if the show is available, if not I try to find decent quality Raws online. Netflix is probably the cheapest, most abundant source of footage that you'll find for the money.

Get the 'free trial' and do your thing.

I've never tried it, but I hear rentanime.com is a helluva lot better than netflix, simply becaus eit has anime you've never heard of on it.

But, I'll be honest where my source comes from.

I used to buy all my DVDs. Now that I'm not living off my parents' money, I buy anime movies and very short series(less than 5 DVDs) from a store or something. Anything longer than that is probably a bootleg I got off ebay.

Other than that, I had a Newtype USA subscription for about two years, and I kept all the DVDs.
So now I have the first episodes of pretty much everything that came out in 2004 - 2005. LOL
