Looking for an old AMV (db / hero of the day)
As a fan of amvs for many years, I recently came across one of my favorite amv's from long ago on youtube:
http://www.hosatchel.com/watch?v=v4LAU2AgEQg
The Dragonball 10th anniversary special
Hero of the Day - Metallica
After doing a search on this site, i found a remake of this amv:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=64839
but I'd still like the original video (I lost the original video during a hd failure )
Not sure if this is the place to post such a request, but does anyone here have the original amv?

if it's the one I'm thinking of I believe that was done by maboroshi studiosbluearyus wrote:As a fan of amvs for many years, I recently came across one of my favorite amv's from long ago on hosatchel:

I just love how everyone else claimed they made it like Duane Johnson's Particle Man video.SailorDeath wrote:if it's the one I'm thinking of I believe that was done by maboroshi studiosbluearyus wrote:As a fan of amvs for many years, I recently came across one of my favorite amv's from long ago on hosatchel:

I was really surprised to find out Maboroshi did that one and a DBGT one too.

yeah, I think it's one of Joe's "Green" music videos, that is one he made when his capture card was getting the colors wrong and everything had a green tint to it.Castor Troy wrote: I just love how everyone else claimed they made it like Duane Johnson's Particle Man video.

Well the amv did have that greenish tinge to it.
But it's not listed as an amv under maboroshi studios. :/

It was a pretty good video for its time. Technically it wasn't a dragonball gt video but rather the original story of dragonball in the gt style of animation.
I'll give it a bit of time to see if anyone can verify this before sending a pm to that user.

I think I may have what your looking for. Before I found this site.. I got all my videos from Kazaa. The downloaded file name reads DBZ -Hero Of The Day (Music Videos).mpeg it is 4:22 seconds long 320X240 4:3 aspect ratio and 15.6 MB in size. The video has no opening or closing credits. It has a green tint. Throughout the video there are small clips of original Japanese audio.. like little goku saying the famous "Kamehameha". I understand this probably isn't much help.. just thought I'd give it a go. I'd tell you when exactly it was downloaded. but it has been transfered through at least 3 diff computers.. but I downloaded it roughly two years ago.

Oh! Yep that's the original video I'm looking for. The remake that's on this site does not have the little snippets of audio (which ends up making the "remake" worse )
Only 15 megabytes? that sounds a bit too small (especially for an mpeg file)
Can you upload it via http://megaupload.com/ or some other file uploading service. Pretty please

too bad i can't edit my previous post....
After some quick google searching of the filename you posted, i was able to find the video on some random french page (which still had working download links!)
hrm i'm not really sure if i should paste the link to the site/file
or at least have an admin upload the file so others can enjoy it too.

I hope you will post a link. I think I also used to have this vid and lost it in the Great Hard Drive Crash of 2001. I remember some music video with Metallica and DB and DBZ (that narrows things, I know).
As you know, it's hard to try and rebuild an old collection. I'm still searching for firey's old DB 10th anniversary AMV. So, it'd be great if you could post the link to your recent find so we can all check it out. Thanks!
[P.S. Good luck getting anything put up by proxy. I have tried to no avail.]
