Do you think the overrated ideas will EVER die down?

Just a curious question. We all know that it's a rule that at least one LP/DBZ video, Kingdom Hearts, FF7 whatever all the ones that come by the millions. Since those ideas are SO common do you think there will ever be a time when they just get old? You would think at least one comming out daily it wouldn't last forever.

Just what do you think? Do you think those type of videos will come out forever or just until the next huge smash hit comes out?

amvs made to popular stuff is probably a generation thing so maybe in 10 years it will be rare.

before Naruto it was DBZ
before DBZ it was Evangelion :/

people will make vids to shows they like its life... people still make DBZ videos and still make Evangelion videos too...

I still make Cardcaptor Sakura videos even though they have also had lots of videos made to it... i just like it that much O.o i dont care if its original or not.

Yes but every single one of those videos STILL come out in bulk.

There's a lot more people who haven't been exposed to anime. Many of those are probably going to end up loving anime once they get in to it. Many of them will fall in love just like many people did with the staple anime shown on television, namely such things as DBZ and Naruto. Some of those people will discover and like and eventually want to make AMVs. And what do you think they'll make their AMVs to?

Now take into account that people are also born in the meantime. And one day they'll go through with these cycles all over again seeing as how television networks love re-runs.

It happened before, it'll happen again.

For as long as AMVs continue to be made, people will make AMVs with music and anime that they like.

Many of them will be new to the AMV scene and will not be aware of what is considered overdone.
Many of them will not even think to check first whether their combination has been done before.
A smaller number will be aware of the overuse, but simply won't care.

I don't watch these videos myself, so I don't care either. If they're having fun, then all is well and good, I say.

it'll never end. I grew up with Eva/DBZ so when I originally found this site THATS what was cool, alot of my friends are getting into it and they started by naruto... so theyre all GO NARUTO GO!!!.... It all depends on what you start with...

my girlfriend started with cowboy bebop and she will always perfer those kind of vids. It depends what you generally get exposed to, and if you have the incentive to expand away from "basic anime"

"basic anime" is generally what you can see poorly dubbed on ytv or random channels ie: DBZ , NARUTO, soon to be or already BLEACH

Yes in ten years nobody will still know LP, DBZ and Evangelion.
