Well, I was trying to avoid clogging up the forum with description but here it goes. You are going to have to listen to the songs or read the lyrics to really understand, of course.
1. The video for aqua - turn back time would focus around Ranma and Akane's relationship. It is saying that Ranma is thinking about going back and starting over again to try and make things right between them. It would, of course, be a romance theme, with some beatings in between.
2. The video for Ima Robot - creeps me out is about Ranma's many fiances and their seemingly undying love. It is going to show how they are always all over him and bringing him uneeded things while Akane, the one he actually likes, doesn't care for him like that. It would be a comdey theme.
3. The video for Otis Redding - try a little tenderness would be about how Ranma always treats Akane like dirt, and is realizing that treating her kindly would make her happier and more loving. It will show how he normally treats her, along with some of the more accidental scenes where he lets nice comments slip. It would be a romance theme.
4. The video for Nelly Furtado - say it right would be about Akane and her love for Ranma, but would also touch on her relationship with other men, such as Ryoga. It is about how Akane has given up a lot of hope for Ranma to like her and be nice to her, and is going to try out new guys to take his place. It would be a romance theme.
5. The video for the Cat Empire - sly would be similar to the Ima Robot video, but instead showing how Ranma likes the attention he gats from his fiances (sometimes). It would touch on the idea that he thinks all of his other fiances are cute except for Akane. This would be a comdey theme also.
6. The video for The Dandy Warhols - we used to be friends would be a video about how, when Akane and Ranma first met, she asked him to be her friend. Although they got along for...a minute, they now fight all the time. This would be a beatings video with some cuter scenes in it too. It would be a comdey theme.
1. The video for bow wow - im a flirt would be an ironic interpretation of Tenchi's life. Although he attracts many women he rarely flirts with them. It would be about how he tries to avoid them and they just keep chasing him, completely opposite of what the song is saying...hence the irony. It would be a comdey theme, obviously.
2. The video for gwen verdon - a little brains a little talent would be about Ryoko and her never ending barrage of ideas. She is always scheming to get Tenchi and put the other girls through living hell. The lyrics tell the story to a t, so it would be a lip sync video about her. It would be a comedy theme.
I'm going to scratch the Daria video because I wasnt aware of the restriction on it. The last video idea I had is open for the taking, but just read the lyrics to Say Anything - wow i can be sexual too and you will see the total picture of the video. It would be a little perverted and funny.
