art suggestion for awesomness AMV

working on an AMV (see need suggestion for awesomness topic)
and there is some art involved
can anyone suggest what program i can use to draw that art.
(either that or i draw by hand and scan into my computer)
no further suggestions are needed(i have every thing concerning anime,song,and editing program to use figured out,except for issues in the forum topic:need suggestion for awesomness)

I've used Photoshop + a tablet to draw on my computer, but it takes some getting used to.

if you can't afford it THE GIMP is a good alternative

I've only opened the program once, it seems sorta similar i donno i don't remember it much, but from what i can tell several people on the forums recommend it...

I got photoshop, I usually stick with it.
