Surprisingly serious article. Most of the time (that I have seen at lest), it's percieved as a "nerds in their parents basement" passtime, where as this shows what we do in a subculture-like way. Well written IMO.

The lady who wrote it spent alot of time learning about the culture instead of just writing the article after one interview. She interviewed alot of people and spent hours with me. Attended the AX amv contest and everything. So by the end she really understood what she was writing about. She told me it was her 'pet project'. (Normally not so much time would be spent on such an article).

Sounds like an awesome reporter. I really hate a lot of the media because they only get half the story most of the time. Nearly every time I read an article about something which I have a lot of knowledge about, I always realize they are not telling the truth at all. My dad says the same thing, whenever there are articles pertaining to his line of work, he scoffs at them because of how much FAIL they contain.
