Throwing a new concept into the mix

While searching for a song for my choir class, a lot of people were coming in with karaoke VCDs.

So I say to myself, "Damn, all of those accompanyment VCDs suck major league..."
Then I come home and work on an AMV and then it hits me:

Why not make a karaoke-style AMV!? You can sing to karaoke tracks with anime set to them!!

Throwing this out there may be a good idea or a horrid one, so I'm gonna see what other people think.

Kusoyaro did an AMV to a song his brother and one of his friends. Dreams Of Earth

I'm not discouraging your idea, I'm just saying it's been done. I had a thought of an awesome idea for an interactive video as well:

Edit a video, but don't export it with music. That way, when you play it at a competition or something, you can bring your band with you and play the song. It would be a lot of work, but I think it'd be really cool

Also been done. System of a down had a Kite video playing during Suggestions at a concert

Really?! I think I've seen a Kite video done to that song, but I had no idea they played a set with it in the background. Think there's footage of that somewhere?
