Valentine AMV

Hello.

I plan to make an AMV using Linkin Park's Valentines Day song. I'm working on a clear concept at the moment, but so far, the main focus is the situation of one character, who loses his will to move on over the loss of someone they loved or someone special in their life. I've found some videos using the song, but I'm confident in my concept. I hope to get a clearer one later.

I want to use one anime following the song alone:

On a Valentine's Day

Based on this song, I'm looking for an anime with scenes of a stormy/cloudy weather that changes in certain episodes and a burial ceremony or cemetery showing scenes of a grave. I'm also interested in a character that seems to suffer through stomach aches or get depressed a lot. (maybe a character who has high spirits, but has episodes or scenes where they are feeling low based on the phrase, "I used to be my own protection")

Concept is still under construction, but this is what I got so far.

Actually, I forgot to narrow this character profiling down. Since I'm looking for anime scenes, specifically, not just an anime, I will ask specifically for a character who portrays the following traits:

1) Strong-willed; can do just about anything without fear (almost high strong!)
2) Encouraged and motivated by a girl, but is too shy to admit they "love" them.
3) At times, gets stressed out by holding their belly, crouching in a fetal position or just in fear.
4) Can get emotional; sad, depressed, and upset when something goes wrong. (Hits them harder if it's a serious situation. Keeping in regards to my concept).
5) Enjoys being around that special person in their life (which I presume to be a girl they like).

To narrow down the burial and weather scene, I've considered Naruto, but I'm concerned with its length, so any suggestions as to where I could get these scenes described in the first post?

Don't know for sure, but I will consider this anime as an option for now.

At least, he sounds close to the character I'm searching for. Thanks for suggesting Sousuke from FMP; I forgotten about this anime, but to make sure if it's a good choice, are there any episodes where the weather forms black clouds, rains, snowy, and any burial scenes as proscribed in the beginning? If not, what other anime would seem to fit this?

I read your first post and I thought I had someone who was soo perfect for most of this, but it's a girl. So are you only looking for a guy with these traits and scenes??
Saya from Blood+ is strong and often depressed sometimes just freezes up with fear and curls up or holds her self shaking and what not. There are multiple scenes with cloudy weather or raining or a sunny sky gets cloudy, or the sun comes out (in the morning at least). Also a couple of scenes with graves but I don't think a burial. But I guess it's no good if you're only looking for a guy. If you're interested I can give you some specifics about episodes...

Rin from Shuffle! i believe there are a few funeral scene's tho they are flashbacks while he was young and i think he fits all of the traits bar no.1. Tho this is mearly a suggestion

I'm sorry I didn't check this for so long! If you're still looking I have a ton of scenes like that

Graveyard: ep 21 and 35 (saya's not in the graveyard tho)

Weather: Ep 27 is cloudy and then the sun comes out kinda suddenly. Ep 30 she comes out of a building and it's raining, I don't think it was raining when she went in. Ep 7 it starts raining and then the sun comes out again so you have both changes. Ep 22 there is a clear sky but when she 'stops Haji's time' these ominous clouds come out and then it's dark and gloomy looking. There are a few eps where it's night and the sun comes out cuz the sif can't be in sunlight. Ep 45 and I think 21 and probably more that I can't remember right now. Blood+ has a lot of weather for an anime.

Depressed: She's actually more depressed than not in most of the series I think but some good scenes are ep. 14 she's in bed and has a depressed look and curls up. Ep 11 at the end Ep 35. 37, 49 crying.
In ep 32 a spoiler happens and there's good scenes near the end of the ep of her lying on the floor crying and looking helpless.

Fear: Ep 10 she's in a museum and she has memories. She has this terrifeid look and then starts running. She ends up in an ally where she kinda holds her head and half collapses. It could also be made to look like depression but it's mostly out of fear.
Ep. 2 she screams and then passes out.
Ep. 24 she falls to her knees and looks really helpless
Ep. 12 she's paralyzed in fear (like literally she has to be carried at one point) it also carries into ep 13 when she screams and collapses again.
Ep. 30 she goes to this place to find out about her past and throught the ep as she's being told stuff she's kinda shaking and holding herself. She has this really great look with terrified eyes at one point in the ep.
Ep. 19 again is completely immobilized by frear. It's probably the best example. She's like shaking and holding herself and at one point she just falls to the floor and curls up in fear.
She also collapses from tiredness or lack of blood a lot too, ep 17 and 34 (I think) and there's more those are the ones I found right now.

The specifications makes me think of Brandon Heat from Gungrave. He's not a very cheerful guy, but he's strongwilled and motivated by a girl, doesn't get her in the end. He's also not the most dynamically expressive unfortunately... and it's been a long time since I've seen the series... but he is happy just being with his girl and seeing her happy.
