Why is it called the top 10% videos?

If you go to the top 10% rated videos, select all years, then you can see 440(two vids are equally ranked at 439), implying there are a total of 4380 rated vids. But if you go to the global statistics it says there are 131,605 (as of now) AMVs on the org :p

Nope, you need a minimum of 10 opinions to qualify. So there are infact 127,000 with less than 10 ops.

It really sucks that after the addition of quick comments less and less are giving opinions to amazing videos. The top 10 is missing a lot of the newer good amvs.

As soon as star scores and quick comments got added the top 10% became useless.

- lazy people, who won't bother browsing that list
- "friend jerks" who get only what their friends make
- "oldfags" who believe AMVs are dead nowadays and nothing good is made anymore
