Can anyone tell me an Anime with a Close-up of a book opening and perhaps pages closing.

Perhaps from One Piece, as that's the anime I'm using otherwise. I'm going to do the Manga into Anime effect.

In The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Yuki is reading in almost every episode. Vol.3 Ep-1 has a close-up of pages turning near the end.
R.O.D. The TV, the whole show is about books so there may be something you can use there.

How about cardcaptors? The clow book opens up in the very first episode.

Naruto Shippuden shows Sai's picture book that he made for his brother.

In Gunslinger Girl, Claes is almost always seen with a book. An in episode 8 (season 1) , Marco writes a book for Angelica, but her memory loss causes her to forget it completly.

Ef - Tale of Memories. It's in a preview for it that I have. Looks like it might have come from an OP or something, I haven't seen the show.
Shakugan no Shana. Margery has a book and when she casts the spell things she opens it up and flips the pages. In ep 4 there's like a 5 second close up of just the book opening and pages flipping.
