Sony vegas/premier and AE...

lately i have been watching aLOT of amv. and i detected that most of them are made in the AE aplication, but the audio sync in AE is a pain in the as* so i was wondering, do you think is better to make the "basic" video(by basic i mean select the clips and put them together and adding the transition effects(or not XD)) in the sony vegas/premier, and then use the result and add al the rest of the effects in the AE. its that ok? how do you ppl make ur amv? plz answer i'm out of ideas T_T need help whis this...

That's the generally accepted procedure. Do the bulk of your editing in Premiere and get the video to where it should be without FX (save for crossfades and such, yes those count as "effects"), then import the Premiere project files into AE to do all the fancy stuff. I intentionally left Vegas out of my reply, as when using AE, it's much easier to import files from Premiere since the app was designed with this in mind.

People don't generally edit a whole AMV in AE since it's way harder than to do it in Premiere or Vegas, and also it isn't quite necessary. I would reccomend like FS to use AE only for Fx bits.

Cutting on Premiere/Vegas and then adding effects on AE is the best way, as much as I know. Personally I cut on Premiere, then import the project into AE and then add effects. I like how this two programs interrogate.

I dont really know how to say this but will try to play music in adobe after effects you first have to preview it raw everytime thats why it is really hard to make an amv in that editng program but it is ok to use more editing program you dont have to only edit in one program i edit in sony vegas photshop and after effects as much i can but i really do have to say it is really hard to use after effects i dont know anything about premier that much but it is alitle of the same thing so just try your best in what you are doing Hint:people only care about good effects and good how the image of the video looks.

I don't really know how to say this, but I'll try. To play music in Adobe AfterEffects, you first have to preview it raw every time. That's why it's really hard to make an AMV in that program. But it's OK to use multiple programs, as you aren't limited to just one. I edit in Sony Vegas, Photoshop, and AfterEffects as much as I can, but I do have to say it's really hard to use After Effects. I don't know anything about Premiere, but I assume it's roughly the same thing. Just try your best. Hint: people only care about effects and how good the image-quality of your video is.
