I studied like hell for my SAT, and it actually helps, no matter what they tell you.

never took the sat
took the comp100 and did perfect in comprehension and grammar
took act and got only a goddam 25 in comprehension and a 28 in grammar
couldn't read fast enough for compreshension section + i got a headache too
wierd how that shit works fuckin stupid standardized tests

hope ya did well...

I didn't study for the SAT, but I did well enough to get into college WITHOUT taking that stupid (and expensive) TOEFL test required for foreign students.

The math is easy, its the vocab that'll kill ya......the first time i took it, i studied both and got like a 1150...after that i did nothing but vocab up the wazoo and ended up with a 1350, a much larger than that average 7 point increase those people talk about.

I think the initals stand for "Standardized Academic Test". Then again, i could be wrong. @_@

Basically what the SAT's do is help colleges determine your academic abillty in a college setting. (Damn i'm smooth. ^^ )

It actually stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test. In theory it tests for your ability to do well in college. In actuality it does nothing more than test a single skill - your ability to take the SAT.
