Wow #100 on this post. Anyway yes this 10th Anniversary tournament was an 8th edition pre release. Anyway I didn't get to go because of ANG. Well I'm going to building some new decks now and I'll let you know how they turn out. Until then " You better get ready !"

In general. For since I can't make the 2003 State Championship. I'll be back for the 2004. I finished 28th out of 83 this year. So I figure by 2004 I'll be ready to become the Maryland State Champion.

I'd participate in this year's championship, but that would mean acknowledging the legitimacy of 8th Edition, so I won't.

Actually, if you read my post, you might notice that we played with Nemesis, Planeshift and 4th  It's seperate from the 8th Edition launch event, which is in a couple of week's time.

And if you're not going to buy new cardfaces, then you're never going to buy Magic again  Which I know is acutally an option for some people.

I'll keep the support to a bare minimum, anyway. I admit that I'll have to buy them once the actual sets look like that, but I'll be damned before I buy 8th Edition!!

And I noticed that you got odd packs, which is why I asked if I was getting my events confused.

Oh, I can still buy Magic. Tempest and Saga boxes are pretty expensiveon eBay, but Fifth is cheaper than retail. And I could probably get 4 of every Fallen Empires card for about ten bucks! Hymn to Tourach, Goblin Grenade, Breeding Pit... ooh, yummy Thallid goodness!

Last year, upon hearing the terrible news about 8th, I really did buy a box of Revised boosters, a box of 4th starters, and a box of 5th starters. And I didn't get one goddamn Dark Ritual! Three Personal Incarnations and no Rituals? WTF is with that?

Yeah that does sound like bad luck. Anyway I have a question. If in the future I was to submit a plan for magic cards to become 3-D in some way would you think that would work and get more people interested in the game? And do you think in the future they may create a holographic version of the game where you can see your creatures actually attack on a hologram table?

At this rate and direction, I can guarantee it.
