Nihon he ikimashita

Post by WilLoW :--) » Sat Aug 30, 2003 2:29 am

Hey, I've just been to Japan on Hollidays for 12 days, and it was really fun !

Anime DVDs are really expensive over there (we went to a GAMERS shop, and saw things like dvds with only ONE episode for about 20 euros/dollars, or Ghost in the shell for 90 dollars (98OO yen), not even a special version... )

Japanese people have been very kind with us, even if they insisted on speaking in english while we were trying to speak japanese :(
Oh, and of course, there are lots of cute girls in Japan :D

I'll show you photos when they're done.

My cousin went there on the JET program to teach English for a summer; stayed for three years before coming back, finishing off his university course in Japanese Studies and has just got himself a really good job working for the foreign office. Damn, he's having a good time of it.
