I'm loyal and old fashioned. I'm the type of guy that picks a girl up and takes her out for dinner, picks up the check and doesn't want anything in return. I prefer romances to take time and slowely develop and when they take shape I'm the type that showers my love in affections and will devote myself to her. I kinda see myself as a knight in dented armor with my share of scars from battle
I like that. Ha ha ha. I was like that, once. Too many women took advantage and walked all over me.
But then, this curious feeling came over me, and shellacked me inside. I call it jaded cynicism, and it's an impregnable armor. It defends me well, but there's a price to pay. After all, how can you claim to be a knight, if when someone says "you should find a girl" you're overwhelmed with contempt and disgust?
Women using you to get back at ex boyfriends, current husbands, whomever.
Women more concerned with themselves than to give you the time of day.
Women who are emotionally insecure, so much so that they are too distant to find a common ground, or so desperately clingy that they'll do anything to keep a hold on you...
Women who've reduced the act of lovemaking to something completely blase and casual... like getting a snack from the refridgerator, or getting a new Kleenex...
Women endlessly caught up in the web of lies they weave about themselves, inexplicably leading them to a place where they couldn't tell the truth if a gun was to their head... simply because they do it so much that they begin to believe it themselves.
Or when the girl of your dreams gets treated badly every day and comes to you, saying "Oh, I wish I could meet a nice guy like you" but refuses to date ya.
Are there girls out there with genuine emotions, real concerns, and a willingness to be open-hearted, caring and willing to understand?

It has a nice personality. It looks great when you read it from the inside out, but the styling looks awful to me. They tried to make it boxy and style it from the past but it took the same wrong turn the new cadillac did. At first I didn't like the Thunderbird until I saw a real one at a dealership (nice old fashioned cherry red) and I gained a lot more respect. They even have it available in the old powder blue.
Maybe I'll feel the same about the GTO when I see one.
I like the big look of the GT, what I don't like is the lack of real metal...making it chunk off pretty bad instead of denting. But it comes with a nice 3.4 V6 engine...for a sedan with a reliablity record and a pretty low sticker price for all the extras...I fell in love a bit back in 2000..a year after the new design came out. Now they have 6 models, SE, 1, and 2 and GT, 1, and 2. I have yet to meet the supercharged engine toecutter talked about. I'm not sure if he meant the Grand Prix...but a 3.8 eems small for a Prix.
