For anyone who likes a good challenge....

Post by DenaSchezar » Sat Sep 14, 2002 8:03 pm

and is bored ^^0

An award graphic and ur own page of honor at my website is ur rewards if you make it to the top 3

No cash cuz I don't got a job and no anime episodes for free cuz my rents are cheap ^^0

Now for the challenge:

Make an anime music video for one of these songs:

Aoi Jiyuu (Shiroi Nozomi) (Blue sky White Wish)
In Order to Protect Loved Ones (Kenshin Image theme)

If anyone is interested I'll post the lyrics for each song and I'll give you the song file via email (can't upload it on my website cuz anzwers.org is cheap ^^0) and then you can make the music vid.

Why should anyone want to do this?
"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

you know more and more people are becoming attracted to songs in amv's that sound like absolute tosh to me.......then on the other hand my music knowledge doesnt expand from the heavy shift segement on the music channel, and as an Australian I have the complete honour of being dissed from every single con hence hearing these weird ass songs *sigh*.....

wait, what was my point again?

I think I know the reason for that. To put it bluntly, 80%+ of all the AMV's that come come out should never have even been made in the first place.

I find that a vast majority of AMV creators either just use the most popular mainstream songs and then slap a video together with no real direction or purpose, and the other great majority tends to make the AMV for themselves instead of their intended audience. These are usually the ones that use some weird ass obscure song that probably reminds the AMV creator of the time they were 7 on the merry go round at freakin Disney Land or whatever, but no one else gets it cause, well, I guess ya just had to be there. o_O
