It makes me so mad! I know I was to begin with, am now, and probably always will be "just another member". I'm sure we all want it, but we just can't get that feeling of seniority and/or influence.

Whenever people mention the names of the "veterans", everyone immediately knows who they are and what they have done (especially the original noob-greeting-and-eating squad...).

The only exception to this statement is the list of members who've created the famous AMVs but don't post on the forums.

wow .. that post is in such contradiction to your quote lol ... how can u be the lone wolf, yet still be fighting of acceptence O:
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
I've seen it happen, man! I've SEEN IT!..

Well, I can be alone and still be mentioned by others, right? Damn...my human emotions got the better of me in that post. I won't let that sneaky alter-ego bastard get his way again!

Seriously, though: Wouldn't you want people to scream your name in the forums? Wouldn't you want to have your name included in the infamous comic strips and AMVs? Everytime I see those comics or see Pie's fansub AMV, I wonder what great deed those mentioned people did to get mentioned like that.

As for my sig: Do you like it? I created the quote myself. I'm good at thinking up quotes and poems.

I was thinking a bit about Shinji getting stuck in that "alternate universe" by the shadow bubble angel thing and also when he first goes through the human implementation project when I made that quote. These weren't the only things I was thinking about when I wrote it, however.

I use many different events in anime and my own life as influences for my writings.
