from what you are all saying it sounds like it just tests grammar and stuff, isn't that a bit basic?

oh, but does everyone have to take them or what? Over here we just take tests for the subjects you want to study, at higher level anyway, and you get a grade, pretty simple or at least it used to be.

no, you don't have to take them, unless you're wanting to go to a specific college and the it requires you take the SAT
