wwell i myself believe there is a higher power, but as to any which one im not sure. i try to be good to others and treat people like id wanna be treated. and if its my understandin, christianity is a far relative of Jewis beliefs. they both believe in jesus. but i dont know its all up to a induviduals own mind. is there life after death possibly, it might be the way we evolve is all. When our EM fields stop we die and then MOve on to the next stage of existence, and from there possibly move higher.

Jews distinctly do not believe in Jesus. If you ever made that assumption to a Jew they'd probably want to shoot you, just like if someone made the assumption that "anime--that's that chinese stuff, isn't it?"
No--the Jewish faith hates the Christian faith with a passion. (Note that I said "faith" versus individual peoples.) Christians believe that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, and Jews believe that the Messiah has not yet come. If a Jewish couple were to name their child Jesus (possibly even Joshua, from whence the name Jesus is derived), they'd probably be lynched for heresy.
The three main religions--Judaism, Christianity, and Islam--share common roots (I don't think any of them disputes the Old Testament), but they're vastly different, and although there are Messianic Jews (Jews who believe that Jesus was the messiah), they're almost never associated with each other.

I woulda told him to go fuck himself...HOW DARE THAT IDIOT SAY HES RIGHT AND THAT ALL WOMEN ARE SINNERS....fucking prick....I hate all you religious assholesLyrs wrote:a distant cousin of mine tried to convert me to Christainity today at a family gathering.
he first went through a whole text of god loves you and if you accept jesus then you'll be saved. and then after we get into a theologian debate, he goes on to say that all women are sinners. and he further says taht women are not meant to lead and that role is for men.
well, in the end, Lyrs was only annoyed.

(by the way i knew you were being sarcastic.)

i have to disagree with you, 'cause i don't like being on extremes. i'm beign prejudiced here, but i expected him to say those things and all i can say however is that i'm happy i'm not a fundementalist.LightningCountX wrote:I woulda told him to go fuck himself...HOW DARE THAT IDIOT SAY HES RIGHT AND THAT ALL WOMEN ARE SINNERS....fucking prick....I hate all you religious assholesLyrs wrote:a distant cousin of mine tried to convert me to Christainity today at a family gathering.
