Heh, argue with me if you like. My main point is that 'necroposting' isn't an actual forum crime - and interestingly enough most of the people who complain about it are able to log on every day. I doubt most of them know what it's like to be cut off for a few days and to come back and find out you can't reply to things because 5 days have passed. This doesn't seem to be an issue with the members who aren't on as frequently.madmag9999 wrote:its when u reply to a dead thread. id say a thread is dead when no one replys to it for 5 days but some ppl *cought*arigatomina*cought* say thats not old enough. eh whatever. angelx is really the person to talk to about this
And we'll tell you not to do it, but you'll still see people doing it just for fun because it annoys people. ^_^
[If you have a good reason, and it hasn't been dead for too long, don't let the warnings scare you off. It's better than 20 people starting identical threads instead of replying to an old one on the same subject. ^_~ ]

Necroposting certain threads is alright if there's no point in starting a new one. But the necroposting, for example, that Propyro did earlier today was just stupid. The only necroposting that really bugs me is when you revive a flame war or a mostly negative thread and feel the need to put in your input.
